Please keep doing 3 analyses per week, if you're able! They're always great...re: Spanish athletes - Lots of talks about spanish athletes doping in the news these days. Any astrological prospective about it? Especially about tennis and Nadal and David Ferrer specifically. Also no one can't figure out the out of the blue improvement of Djokovic, the new #1. Any astrological explenation?

Too bad you didn't even attempt a good look at Ron Paul, a totally self made Leo who has progressed Sun exactly conjunct his natal Mars Jupiter.
re: Gary Johnson - I really enjoy your NewsScopes. I was looking into Gary Johnson, former governor of New Mexico, as a possible 3rd party candidate and I see he has Venus at 25 degrees Aquarius trine a Pluto/SNeptune conjunction in Libra. Any thoughts on him emerging?

I am actively involved in the recall election of governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin and was wondering if you could give us some insight into the Recall election results. We must produce 540,000 plus signatures by January 15, 2012. The start of the recall has produced over 50,000 in the first 48 hours and our team is greatly energized by the recent Ohio win.
Specifically, I am wondering if the recall will be successful and what are his chances of winning the recall election which is projected to be held in May or June of 2012. Russia’s Arab Spring
Over the weekend, some 100,000 protesters held anti-government rallies in Moscow to denounce electoral fraud and demand an end to Vladimir Putin’s rule. Surprisingly, police were cooperative even though the legal limit for such rallies is 30,000. As in similar rallies in the United States, Europe and the Middle East, the protests were largely leaderless but coming together over common cause via social media.
Russia’s horoscope (June 12, 1990; 1:45 pm; Moscow) indicates that their “Arab Spring” is just around the corner. Saturday’s rally was held during the Lunar Eclipse, which took place only three degrees from the Russian Sun in Gemini. The eclipsing of Putin’s leadership is the goal, but his forces have begun working on cutting off Vkontakte – the Russian equivalent of Facebook.
With the Sun in Gemini and Virgo Rising, Mercury is Russia’s ruling planet. Its placement at 0º Gemini was activated by Uranus as the planet of revolution turned direct and formed a perfect sextile to Russia’s Mercury (orb 0º02’). The harmonious sextile made for a peaceful gathering, but that may soon change. Transiting Uranus is heading into Russia’s volatile and unpredictable Mars-Uranus square.
However, before Uranus gets there, Pluto will conjoin natal Uranus. In other words, the transiting Uranus-Pluto square responsible for the worldwide anti-government movements is perfectly aligning with Russia’s volatile natal Mars-Uranus square. This dynamic will be in effect off and on over the next two years. While we may expect growing resistance to Putin’s regime, Uranus’s activation of Russia’s Mars in Aries may also awaken Russia’s military in unpredictable ways.
Elizabeth Warren in Massachusetts
Twice name as one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine, and the brainchild behind the recently created Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Elizabeth Warren is currently the leading candidate to fill Massachusetts’ Senate seat in 2012. The former Harvard law professor has written numerous books about finance, and is a widely recognized champion for middle class families.
Elizabeth Warren was born with a Sun-Uranus conjunction in the family-values sign of Cancer (June 22, 1949; Oklahoma City, OK; time unknown). This highly creative and inventive combination is given practical, solid support through the sextile to Saturn, plus an idealistic, social perspective by the quincunx to Jupiter in Aquarius. These tight outer planet connections to her Sun elevate her life’s purpose to include the larger human family, in addition to her own nuclear family.
On November 14, 2008, Warren was appointed to chair the congressional oversight panel to report on the government’s management of the financial meltdown. At the time, transformative Pluto was just entering Capricorn, where it opposed her Sun-Uranus. She described the need for two fundamental changes: fix the broken consumer credit markets, and “end guarantees for the big players that threaten our entire financial system”.
A Mercury-Mars conjunction in Gemini (trine Neptune) describes her ability to clearly articulate and argue her position. The evident passion and drive she has for financial reform can be seen in her Taurus Moon squaring Pluto. She’s currently in the news as a foil for Carl Rove’s negative ads, as Uranus turns direct while squaring her Sun. Over the coming year, her progressed Sun will conjoin her Ceres-Saturn conjunction in Virgo, likely culminating in her growing authority and victory in Massachusetts.
Albert Pujols in the Zone
Last week, Albert Pujols signed a ten-year contract with the Los Angeles Angels for a reported $254 million, the second-largest in baseball history. Widely regarded as the most outstanding baseball player over the past ten years, Pujols holds numerous slugging records, including at least 30 homeruns and over 100 RBIs in each year since his rookie season in 2000.
Albert Pujols was born with his Sun in steadfast Capricorn (January 16, 1980; Santo Domingo, Dominican republic; time unknown), where it forms aspects to all five of the outer planets.
Being an Outer-Planet-Person makes him a game-changer, with legendary skills that seems to transcend ordinary human abilities. Most people can’t handle the immense personal power that comes with these extraordinary aspects, but in Pujols’ case, the Capricorn Sun trine Saturn offers a rock-solid role as a reliable baseball hero.
Mars, the natural ruler of athletes, is well-placed in studious Virgo. It’s given a noble fighting spirit via the conjunction with Jupiter, emotional levelheadedness by the trine to his Moon in Capricorn, and financial rewards by the trine to Chiron in Taurus. He signed his new contract during his Mars Return, but also while Mercury was retrograde. The deal doesn’t actually become official until he passes a physical.
Pujols had a remarkable finish to the 2011 season, notably, the third game of the World Series on October 22 when he hit three home runs. His progressed Sun is in the last two degrees of Aquarius, where it’s being activated by transiting Neptune. For those with the ability, the combination of Neptune and the Sun produce a quality of play that seems unconscious, as if channeling some higher power. In the world of sports, it’s often referred to as being “in the zone.”
