re: Mignini - Golly, it's nice that a lawyer can maintain a professional level of objectivity. What an ass. But that is a Pluto-in-the-7th-house view of the world: seeing the other as one of two extremes, black or white, madonna or whore.
re: Hawaii Five-O - I just found out that both of the leads of the new Hawaii 5 0 share the same birthday! It strikes me as so funny when I watch the show because they are as different as night and day. It would be fun to get your take on it.
Alex O'Loughlin (Steve McGarrett) was born Aug 24, 1976 in the morning in Canberra, Australia. Scott Caan was born Aug 23, 1976 at night in LA. They said in an interview they were born only a few hours apart.I want to know why O'Loughlin is so unbelievably hot, and Caan is not quite. re: neutrino - I don't agree with some of the basic premises of so-called modern physics. Fifty years from now physicists will look back and wonder how these people could have been so stupid! Modern physics is the science of matter and living things seen as dead material. The real new physics will look upon matter and living things as living material with consciousness. At that point science will be able to accept the reality and beauty of astrology.

Democracy, Not Corporatocracy

As befits the Uranus-Pluto square that dominates the OWS horoscope, what happens next is unpredictable. Beginning as an activist group’s call for an occupation of New York’s financial district, and modeled after the Arab Spring, the OWS movement had by October 15, 2011 evolved into a global protest against financial corruption.
Over the next few years, the transiting Uranus-Pluto square strikes at the U.S.’s vital dynamic, its Sun-Saturn square, which represents its financial, social, and political structures. According to the activists participating in the OWS movement, these structures have become dominated by a wealthy elite that has created a corporatocracy to maintain and grow their power to the detriment of everyone else.
Will it come down to class warfare? Warren Buffet is in favor of taxing the super-rich. As he said, “There’s class warfare, all right. But it’s my class, the rich class, that’s making war, and we’re winning.”
If nothing else, OWS has started the conversation. The worldwide resurgence against institutionalized corruption has no stars or script, so anything is possible. As Marshall McLuhan predicted during the 1960s Uranus-Pluto conjunction, its nature is a projection of the new technology that allows its existence. The internet has no leaders or demands. All it does is make connections.
Individuals, organizations, and national movements connecting to each other are like the neural networks of an evolving global brain. It’s as if the collective unconscious is waking up, becoming aware of itself. How can we build a more equitable social-economic-political system? Now that we live in a global village, we need a global solution, especially if we believe that, collectively, we are all connected on many different levels. A revolutionary epoch is upon us.
Italian Prosecutor Giuliano Mignini
The chief prosecutor in the Amanda Knox murder case, Giuliano Mignini, was born with his Aries Sun trine Pluto in Leo and also Ceres and Chiron in Sagittarius (April 13, 1950; 3:00 am* Perugia, Italy). This creates a Fire Grand Trine, giving him high energy that never quits, an enthusiastic flare for the dramatic, and a creative imagination. The problem with this configuration is that the Sun opposes Neptune, so that his intuition may be misguided.
Another problem is that Pluto is angular: it’s in the 7th house of others where it gets him involved in complex conspiracy theories about the motives or actions of potential criminals. As the ruler of his 9th house, Pluto can get him entangled in religious scenarios or foreign visitors. Amanda Knox was a foreign student, and he imagined her involved in a satanic sex orgy that led to the killing of her roommate.
With Aquarius Rising, the ruler of Mignini’s chart is Uranus, which is located in the 5th house of romance and recreation. Amanda Knox, as an attractive young woman, can be associated with Venus, the love planet. Oddly enough, her Venus in Cancer is very close to Mignini’s Uranus, a connection astrologers sometimes equate with “love at first sight”. However, with his Juno-Saturn conjunction, he firmly believes in and upholds the institution of marriage. In his view, women are either whores or madonnas.
Amanda’s free-spirited attitude, especially regarding her sex life, disturbed the prosecutor in a very personal way. His Venus in Pisces prefers women who uphold his Catholic heritage. Author Nina Burleigh, in her fascinating book about the case, notes that Mignini had a poster of Santa Maria behind his desk, and the image bore a startling resemblance to Amanda Knox. The prosecutor interrogated Amanda through the night of November 5, 2007 until, exhausted, she signed a false confession. At the time, transiting Saturn was exactly opposite Mignini’s Venus.

J. R. Martinez Tops the DWTS Leaderboard

While he was recovering from his devastating burn injuries, he discovered he had a knack for raising the spirits of other war victims. His chart has two Grand Trines, one in air and one in fire, which keeps him buoyant, hopeful, and highly motivated. The Fire and Air Grand Trines provide an endless source of outgoing, social, and creative energy.
Karina Smirnoff (January 2, 1978; Kharkov, Ukraine; time unknown) has her Mars in Leo, exactly conjunct J.R.’s Venus. This highly erotic, entertaining connection between the love planets is the key to their good chemistry. Also, her Capricorn Sun squares his Juno, which is a great partnership link. Her Jupiter conjunct his Sun provides immense joy and enthusiasm, and endless support for his efforts. It’s a winning combination.
