The Astrology and Astronomy of Crop Circles
Crop Circle Depicts 2012
NewsScope; July 21, 2008. Every year the crop circle formations that appear in England are eagerly anticipated, as they have grown increasingly complex and beautiful. The formation that appeared last week near Avebury Manor depicts our solar system, with the nine planets orbiting the large Sun in the center. The planets' positions correspond to an actual date, which is December 21, 2012 – the end of the Mayan calendar.
Astrologically, a horoscope set for the Winter Solstice on December 21, 2012 (6:12 am; Washington D.C.) shows several important outer planet configurations, underscoring the momentous significance of that time. As described in this column recently, the signature event for 2012 is the Uranus-Pluto square, which is exceptionally dynamic due to their placements in Aries and Capricorn. The last time Uranus and Pluto were in aspect was in the revolutionary 1960s.
Specific to December 21, 2012, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto are all at 8º of their respective signs (Gemini, Scorpio, and Capricorn), so that they form a rare concise configuration. This trio is all the more powerful since it's precisely in line with the U.S. Ascendant at 8º Scorpio and the U.S. Uranus at 8º Gemini. These kinds of precise, multi-planetary alignments create spectacular events.
The overlay indicates that the U.S. government will be a key player as it attempts to manage (Saturn) whatever crisis is unfolding at the time. Action is also evident, since Mars at 27º Capricorn is exactly conjunct the U.S. Pluto, representing the marshaling (Mars) of U.S. power (Pluto). While one could speculate endlessly about various scenarios depicted by these planets, more intriguing is what is the connection between the mysterious Circle Makers and 2012?

This is the most exciting and puzzling event so far this year to appear in Wiltshire. This formation appears to deliberately straddle a public pathway. This is a little baffling as there is plenty of room in the barley field to accommodate a pathway free design. Intriguing indeed! There are numerous mind bending possibilities and explanations within this formation. A fascinating conundrum.

The new formation is obviously a diagrammatic representation of the Sun and planets (with no care for proper astronomical proportions). But the smaller inner ones (Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars) are clearly delineated from the giant outer ones (Jupiter, Saturn Uranus and Neptune).
And there is a huge Sun with an unusual reversing swirl lay. As for Pluto, is it another small planet and displayed the same as the little inner ones, with a small size and thin orbital line. I also know enough to recognize that it's orbit is symbolically correct in that it goes well outside of Neptune�s path for most of the way, but for a while it is within the Sea God's orbit.

Avebury Manor of July 15, 2008 reminds us that the Mayan Long Count calendar will end on December 21, 2012: by showing precise orbital locations for all nine planets of our solar system on that date, plus an accurate elliptical orbit for Pluto
The 5125-year Mayan Long count calendar will end on December 22-23, 2012. Given the long period of time which it represents, all nine planets of our solar system need to be shown in order to mark its end uniquely. Such a clever astronomical diagram was shown at Avebury Manor on July 15, 2008. All nine planets appear there precisely as they will be located in space four and one-half years from now on December 23, 2012, with one exception.
Thus, the outermost planet Pluto has been drawn in this new crop picture somewhat further to the right (or closer to Neptune) than should be the case. Yet Pluto still seems to be located correctly relative to the crossover of its highly elliptical orbit with the orbit of Neptune.

Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 was discovered photographically by the husband and wife scientific team of Carolyn and Eugene Shoemaker and amateur astronomer David Levy on March 24, 1993.
For a period of about six days centered on July 19, 1994, fragments of Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 collided with Jupiter, the solar system's largest planet. The energy released by the larger fragments were10,000 times the energy released by a 100-megaton hydrogen bomb!
The appearance of the comet was reported as "most unusual": the object appeared as a "dense linear bar'' with a "fainter, wispy tail.'' The comet's brightness was reported as about magnitude 14, more than a thousand times too faint to be seen with the naked eye. Latter observations revealed that the "bar'' was made up of as many as 21 pieces "strung out like pearls on a string,'' according to one researcher.

1994 Crop Circles and Comet Shoemaker-Levy

In the Summer of 1994 as the historic comet event was taking place on Jupiter non-manmade Crop Circles appeared that mirrored the event as it progressed in the sky, from our vantage point on Earth, in direct line with the head of the constellation of Scorpio.
Scorpion designs started to appear in the fields in May and progressed into graded arcs of circles as the comet, strung out in a line of 21 letter coded fragments, began impacting Jupiter.
The crescent “tail stinger” and moon symbols of May and June continued evolving. Circle-string scorpions were streamlined and ‘morphed’ into the ‘comet' glyphs near and during the actual impact week, with Jupiter being represented in most as the large ring.
Details that included precise lunar alignments, positions of the comet in relation to Scorpio and Jupiter, major stars in the constellation of Scorpio, and details of the comet’s actual physical effect on the planet’s atmosphere appeared in the formations.
